How to use these worksheets
Hour hand first
Read the short hand first and write the hour, then read the long hand for the minutes. It keeps the two hands from getting mixed up.
Count by 5s
Each number on the clock is 5 more minutes. Students who can skip count by 5s read the minute hand much faster.
Hands move together
The hour hand creeps forward as the minutes pass. At 3:45 it is nearly at the 4, but the hour is still 3.
