Part A: In order Multiply. Look for the pattern as you go.

  1. 11 × 1 = 11
  2. 11 × 2 = 22
  3. 11 × 3 = 33
  4. 11 × 4 = 44
  5. 11 × 5 = 55
  6. 11 × 6 = 66
  7. 11 × 7 = 77
  8. 11 × 8 = 88
  9. 11 × 9 = 99
  10. 11 × 10 = 110
  11. 11 × 11 = 121
  12. 11 × 12 = 132

Part B: Mixed up Multiply. The facts are out of order and some are flipped.

  1. 11 × 3 = 33
  2. 10 × 11 = 110
  3. 9 × 11 = 99
  4. 11 × 10 = 110
  5. 11 × 11 = 121
  6. 11 × 1 = 11
  7. 11 × 8 = 88
  8. 11 × 2 = 22
  9. 4 × 11 = 44
  10. 11 × 5 = 55
  11. 5 × 11 = 55
  12. 3 × 11 = 33

Part C: Missing factor Write the number that makes each fact true.

  1. 11 × 5 = 55
  2. 11 × 4 = 44
  3. 11 × 10 = 110
  4. 11 × 12 = 132
  5. 11 × 2 = 22
  6. 11 × 7 = 77

Tips for teachers and parents

  • For 11 × 1 to 11 × 9, the answer is the digit written twice: 11 × 6 = 66.
  • For 11 × 10, 11 × 11 and 11 × 12, use 10 groups plus 1 group: 11 × 12 is 120 + 12 = 132.
  • Talk about why the repeat pattern works: 11 × 7 is ten 7s plus one more 7, which is 70 + 7.
  • If your curriculum stops at 10 × 10, use this sheet as an extension for students who finish early.

Common mistakes

  • Stretching the repeat pattern too far, such as 11 × 12 = 1212. The pattern only works for single digits.
  • Writing 11 × 11 = 111. Use 10 groups plus 1 group: 110 + 11 = 121.

What to practice next

Try the 12 times table next, then the mixed review of tables 1 to 12.

Frequently asked questions

What is the trick for the 11 times table?

For 1 to 9, repeat the digit: 11 × 4 = 44. For larger numbers, multiply by 10 and add the number once more.

Do students need to learn the 11 and 12 times tables?

The US grade 3 standard covers products of one-digit numbers. The national curriculum in England expects tables up to 12 × 12 by the end of Year 4, and many US schools add the 11s and 12s once the grade 3 facts are secure.

Does the worksheet include 11 × 0?

The mixed section can include 0 × 11 or 11 × 0, which both equal 0.
